We look forward to working with all of our members and volunteers over the coming year to support people with Epilepsy in our community and to make the Ottawa region a safe, supportive home for all individuals who are living with seizure disorders.

Fundraising Activities
Each year, many people generously volunteer their time and energy to arrange epilepsy awareness events and fundraising activities on behalf of EOC. Epilepsy Ottawa-Carleton depends on fundraising to raise public awareness and provide programs and services to our members and the general public.
Our main special fundraising event is "Scissors for Seizures”, held in March or April each year. In addition a number of ongoing individual events provide welcome contributions such as the St. Joseph High School Pancake Breakfast. Other support comes in the form of employee fundraising events such as corporate “dress-down days”, “purple days” at area schools, lemonade stands, and other creative events. We are always happy to consider new ones so please share your ideas.
It is very helpful for EOC when organizers are able to print and prepare materials directly from our website but when requested in advance, copies of our Brochure and Information Sheet are also available by mail for such events. We can also arrange use of EOC’s logo for posters and tickets when applicable.
EOC welcomes these partnerships and we are able to provide a number of resources for event organizers:
